Well I finished them. I think I have now developed an obsessive compulsive love of gluing little bits of paper together in fancy colour patterns. Here they are for a little peek, the real ones are sitting in the shop so hop on over there if you would like to take a look...

houses and storybooks...

After I finished the triangle costume from yesterdays post, I had lots of tiny triangles left and I got to thinking how nice all those colours would look on the page of an old story book. I also had a few little paper-cut houses sitting around from an idea I had long ago, so I threw those into the mix too. This is what happened in the end, I quite like them and think i'll make a series of three altogether...

sachiko kanaizumi...

I am doing major battle with the art monster at the moment. Sometimes art can be such a pleasant skip amongst the daisies and at other times it feels like an exhausting fight with a huge shape-shifting beast. There you go, it probably explains why I haven't got one finished picture to show for 2009 and it is already March! I think I'm getting there though... very slowly, surrounded by piles of discarded paper and millions of tiny lines.
